Bought a new mascara to try out!

Loreal Double Extend Eye Illuminator, for brown eyes. Because my eyes are brown! LOL
I bought it last night at Wal*Mart, for about $7. I thought it would be fun to try out. I tried it today and so far I like it. It's definately NOT for dramatic lashes. It lengthens mine but barely gives volume, which is okay for me for the basic makeup days. Does it really accentuate my eyes? Not really. But it's fun to play with and gives your look a new twist. You can see little flecks of color in your lashes. But I doubt anyone else would notice in less you say "Look up close at my lashes!" I may buy a couple of the others to test just to see. I will let you know!

Happy Days!

Was inspired from a picture in Cosmo! (nail polish)

I saw a really cute picture of Vanessa Hudgens in Cosmo magazine. They were highlighting her really awesome (well to me!) manicure. I so had to copy it. LOL So while at WalMart last night I pikced up two nail polish colors that resembeled the picture.
Here is the picture from Cosmo:
(February 2011 issue, pg. 84)
Pretty, right?? And oh so FUN!
Here are the colors I got:
They are from Revlon; (#925) Gold Coin and (#85) Minted. I got them from for just under $4 each.
And I *had* to give myself a QUICK paint job on my left hand to see how it looks. (Don't judge, I have two small kids running around so I had to do this quick; So it's messy. I took it off as soon as I took the pics. LOL I will repaint them better tonight!)
See?! Told you it was messy. BUT I think the colors look great and I did a pretty good job duping the colors (if I do say so myself! HAHA!). And here's another picture under different lighting: Hope this gives you some inspiration! Happy painting!

Top 5 Favorite Perfumes!

Here is my list of my favorite perfumes, along with a description.

#5:
Britney Spears "Believe"
(Retails for $19-$30)
I really like this one. At first "smell" it reminds me of really clean fresh scents. It's fruity, yet musky with a hint of vanilla. It's very wearable and lasts a good while. It's great for teens as well as more mature women, which I love. It is never a over-powering smell.
#4
Lancome "Magnifique"
(Retails for $48-$85)
Now this is a great perfume! I prefer this one more in the fall and winter as it can be heavy. Not sure how to describe it, it's not light or summery. It's flowery and smokey all at the same time. Everytime I wear it I get compliments from strangers!
#3
Yves Saint Laurent "Parisienne"
(Retails for $30-$60)
Great for the spring and summer. Light and flowery. This is another scent I get compliments on.
#2
Dolce and Gabbana Rose The One
(Retails $72-$92)
I LOOOOVE this! I don't know how I lived so long without it. Haaaaaa! It is a very unique floral scent that is not overpowering. It stays on for hours, which I love.
#1
****************DRUM ROLL*******************

Britney Spears "Cirus Fantasy"
(Retails $23-$31)
I think this is her best smelling perfume! And I love how it smells on me. Really pleased with this perfume buy. I bought it before even smelling it which I try to never do! It's a really light smell perfect for the spring!
